11 piece Working Stones set
PERFECT for a working set!
This particular stone set is a higher quality than our other “2nd quality” stone sets. But please know these are still real, raw basalt natural stones, not the hand made, hand shaped, chemically sealed “perfect” looking fake stones you see elsewhere.
THESE ARE REAL BASALT NATURAL STONES.

the rocks in the picture are oiled to show how they will look

with your favorite massage oil.  Before you oil them, they will be greyish in color as shown in the additional auction picture.

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
These stones will be smooth to the touch on the side of the stone that is to be facing the skin, however because these are REAL stones the other side, or top side, of the stone will likely have small imperfections and inclusions such as small cracks, pock marks, or color variations.  Again, these stones are not “perfect” because they are real, natural stones made by Mother Nature.  Just like a diamond, the only perfect ones are actually man made.
We wash, cull, pair, and sort our stones by hand
for appropriate size and shape to make sure you are getting a balanced set of stones.

because we do not know if any of your clients will have allergies to a specific oil. The stones in the picture have been oiled; your stones will be just as dark after they have been oiled.
If you purchase our option 8 toes stones: they are
not
just simply 8 small stones
, but instead we actually take the time to pair them up so that you generally have 2 (one left foot and one right foot) large enough for the gap of your big toes, then 4 medium toe stones, and then another 2 smaller toe stones for the gaps near your pinky toes.
The 4 large working stones are chosen for their size of 3 to 4 inches
and can be used for working the calf muscles and the soles of the feet, placement for warmth on the back, thigh or belly, effleurage, myofascial work.
These are REAL, NATURAL Basalt stones, known for their HEAT RETAINING PROPERTIES.
When we say REAL BASALT, we mean actual REAL BASALT stones we’ve imported from the beaches of Peru!  Our massage stones are NOT the fake, man made perfect little sets you see in a box. BE CAREFUL, we’ve investigated those, even had overseas factories try to get us to sell them…but those are not real basalt, they are a softer stone kind of like a soap stone that has been actually shaped by some underpaid worker overseas in a 3rd world country working all day to grind those stones, and then coated with a hard chemical sealant (which is why they remain so glossy even when they are not wet or oiled).
Don’t be fooled by those fake stones from some other sellers!

. They are washed, but not pre-oiled for hyper-allergenic safety.  THEY DO NOT BECOME “BLACK” IN COLOR UNTIL AFTER YOU OIL THEM!
And finally, just in case we haven’t been clear enough, and stressed how important it is to READ the auction description, here is an excerpt from a recent customer email about the stones she received:  “
Recived
your item, but the stone are way too big and heavy, can’t put on
people’s back for massage, also the color of the stone does not look as
black as the picture show”
And our response:   Well, as stated in the auction auction description, these stones will be their natural color until you oil them. Because they are actually real natural stones they only become black after you have oiled them. The ones that you can buy that are already black and shiny are actually coated with a hard chemical sealant (not natural at all) and many of them are actually a soap stone or limestone underneath the sealant.  We don’t sell the fake stones so any replacement stones you receive from us will still be about the same color as the ones you already received.
Also about them being too big and heavy, the auction you purchased from was for Large 3 to 4.5 inches as stated in the title of the auction.  We measured the stones we sent you so we know they are the same size that is listed in the title and the auction description where is says 3 to 4.5 inches.  Did you mean to buy smaller stones from a different auction?  We’d be happy to send you some medium stones, but again they will be real natural basalt, and not black until you oil them.
