Colonial Currency is
pre-Revolutionary War paper money that was created in response to a growing economy and desperate coin shortage
. Beginning with Massachusetts in 1690 to 1781, individual colonies issued notes to pay for public works, trade deficits, and other items of necessity. These notes issued by the individual colonies were known as ‘Bills of Credit’. These bills of credit were usually fiat money that could not be exchanged for a fixed amount of gold or silver coins upon demand. These were usually issued by colonial governments for the payment of debts. These governments would then retire the currency by accepting the bills for payment of taxes. When colonial governments issued too many bills of credit or failed to tax them out of circulation, inflation resulted.

COMBINED SHIPPING
We do offer combined shipping if you purchase multiple items. Our combined eBay shipping policy is, you pay the shipping and handling on the first item in full and ½ of each additional item. This caps at 10 items, after 10 items each additional item is free.
For combined orders of unusual size, shape, durability, or cost, an additional fee may occur.
If you are planning on purchasing multiple items please request a payment total for combined shipping, before paying.
We can also arrange pickup in store if you are local, or are traveling through.
Payment Policies
Payments will be processed through PayPal or in store. Payment is required within three days from the close of the auction. Other forms of payment can be arranged if you contact us PRIOR to the close of the auction.
Return Policies
Because of the nature of the coin business and the volatility of many of our products, we DO NOT accept returns because we would have to extend our return policy to 30 days via eBay policy which is unfeasible for us.
That being said, we do take our business seriously and we want to keep happy customers. If we made the mistake please contact us and we will fix it right away at our cost. We strive to make sure all our listings are 100% accurate and our products are shipped safely and securely, but sometimes things happen and we will fix it if it does.

Because of the volatile nature of some of our products, market fluctuation IS NEVER a reason for return.
