This is a k-type thermocouple
stranded
wire AWG 24 with Kapton insulation, which is good up to about 400 degree C Celsius or 752 degree F Fahrenheit. This k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own thermocouples for a wide range of applications, or to make your own extension wire. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard thermocouple specifications. This is a stranded wire with 7 filaments, each AWG32 (0.2 mm), for a total AWG 24 (0.5 mm). The stranded thermocouple wire is more flexible and therefore ideal for K-type extension cable.
This k-type thermocouple wire is sold in 1 yard increments, so if you order 10 units of this, you will receive a single 10 yard long spool of K-type thermocouple wire.
